    Ok, I've searched and looked and didn't find anything about this. I have a '92 XJ w/a tired 4.0 (piston connecting pin knocking). I sent out a 4.0 to be built and stroked to a 4.6. I'm going to strip the old block for intake, pumps and pulleys, sensors and buying new header, throttle body, MAP...

    Ok, little up-set with the damn switch. Having problems with the switch, have to wiggle the shifter around in park or neutral. I would like to replace it, but at $250. I don't want to spend that much on a trail rig. So... is there a way to bypass it, with out having to replace it? Ken
