So heres what you do...
1. Go and see "I am legend"
2. Study the ford that will smith drives
3. Check out this site http://www.expeditionportal.com/
4. Take some of those ideas and apply them to your XJ
5. Then finally sit and wait in your basement with a radio scanner and flashlight and hope...
My bad. Quick question:
Has anyone tried using E85 in their XJ?
I'm pretty sure that to do this you would have to replace the fuel line, and possibly anything else that is synthetic and touches the gas. is this true?
The reason I ask is that E85 is significantly cheaper than regular near me.
Was the wagoneer a trim option or was it the actual model name it was sold under?
edit: I just remember that the actual "Wagoneer" was the behemoth sized steel clad thing...
I was looking on craigslist and found this jeep. At first I was like eww a woody but then I saw the grill and I was like WTF? I never saw this type of grill on a Jeep before. Can it even be called a jeep!?!!!?
:yelclap:
Wow, thats some great work you did. Too bad you had to trade the DVD player though. I wish my dash made me feel like I was driving the Starship Enterprise!
Well I searched for files relating to jeeps and XJ's specifically on various Bittorrent sites and I came upon a collaboration of many different documents and spec sheets and even pdf versions of FSM'sI downloaded the torrent file and it took me about a week to competely download the whole thing...
This is kind of off topic but i don't really want to start a new thread.

What is the correct procedure for shifting into 4H or 4L? shifting into 4H is no problem at slower driving speed I believe. but is it normal that I would have to put it in park or neutral to shift into 4L...
Almost 160,000 miles. when u say check plugs 2 and 4 from where do u count? from the front backward? or the back froward? I will do this tomorrow probably, and yes the oil is kind of chocolatey i guess you can say.
What is the probability of this being just a bad head gasket to a cracked head...
Well I think your right i just read online that a leak in the head gasket could ultimately result in coolant coming out of the exhaust and ruining an oxygen sensor, i think i should check that out before the new sensor goes bad if it hasn't already.
well when i first got it it was overheating but stupid me, i never checked the coolant. it was completely dry! So probably every month since september of this year i've had to add about a quarter of a gallon of coolant-water mix.
