I have a 2000 with 190k miles (around 150k are highway) and I havn't had any drivetrain problems. Only things replaced are the battery and starter.

My a/c compressor is making a weird noise and im thinking its a bearing that went bad. Since my a/c doesn't work and I dont care for it im just getting tired of the noise. I was wondering in Xj's that didn't come with a/c did they just use a shorter belt and skip that pulley? Or have a dumby...

I have a 1 inch spacer in the front and trimming to fit 31 BFG all-terrains and only rub at full lock on my lower control arms
