Yeap the U-Joint fit perfect. It was just the clips. We modified them they went on and held good. Got the shaft back in place. Took it out for a test drive and every thing worked good. The problems we had before the fix were all gone. No issues going from 2H to 4HI to 4LOW. Everything seems...

Looks liek you all had fun. Would have loved to have gone but needed to get the work done on the jeep so it was good that I slept in.

Well modified the clips in our shop and then they worked fine. But this is just temporary ffing Duralast. The Jeep dealer is closed on Sunday and this was an emergency repair. I will get the good one and install it later this month.

That is the only one they said they have.... Just went back and they opened all the ones that match for a 90XJ.

I am replacing my axle U-Joints. The new C-Clips however are completely different then the OLD C-Clips. How the hell do I install the new C-Clips

Ok well guess we will see you guys at 9 at Starbucks! Crimson was talking me into taking the new POS XJ I just got (it wont be POS once I get some stuff done) but think the U joints still giving us issues so will take the TJ.

Thanks she is going to take some work but that's to be expected when you buy a 19yo Jeep. Has some rust damage to clean up to. Start on that next week I think.

Will the bucket seats fit a 90? How much are you looking for the driver seat?
