I have read another thread on this topic but the answers were all over the board. I replaced the instrument bulbs in my 96 sport. I needed to remove the fuel, temp, and oil pressure gauges and needles to get to the bulbs. when i went to put the needles back on the gauges they would'nt go back...

I noticed that the rear license plate bulb on my 96 xj was out. I purchased new bulbs and installed it but it still wont light. the wiring harness is in good condition with no breaks in the wires. Would this light have its own fuse or would it be part of a larger circuit?:read:

I drive about 20k per year, mostly city miles. I usually pop the hood every 2 weeks and check to make sure everything is looking ok. My main concern were items like water pump, timing belt, bushings. Things that may not be evident to the casual eye.:patriot:

thanks for the input. it has been a great vehicle and it has been fun to upgrade. it doesnt hurt that i have a really good friend who is always willing to help when i need him.
