    Fuel Injector Reccomendations

+1 for fiveomotorsports. I bought mine (Bosch 19lb. yellow tops) from their Ebay store about a year ago. Shipped and delivered quickly and came with new o-rings. Made a huge difference in the way tho old 4.0 runs.

    Newbie -two questions

Also, try having a friend turn the steering wheel quickly from side-to-side while you look underneath and see if anything is loose or rubbing. Mine sort-of did the same thing and it was the tie rod end that connects the drag link to the pitman arm.

Installing new keyless transmitter need assistance with wiring. '89 Laredo

I hate to be the one to tell you this, but what you bought won't work. It is an on/off switch not a keyless entry. You could hook it up to a relay and either lock OR unlock your doors, but not both. If you are looking for a good, inexpensive keyless entry, try this one...

Got another XJ, need some help with its "issues"

Just a hunch, but I'd say with a "wet" engine bay and mushy, soft brakes, I'd check for a brake fluid leak first and then see if it is the steering. Good Luck!

I don't know what year your rig is but, the NAPA part I used is #269-2628 for my 89 Laredo.

I think I fixed my Junk, I think.

It could be your alternator. As they get older and the brushes wear the output will drop if they get too hot. If the output drops too far it will screw with the fuel injection and sensors and the like, causing some of the symptoms you described.

    89 xj

If it's a 4.0 with an automatic then it's probably a Peugot. The RENIX motors are a bit quirky as Gunner said, but they will run for ever with a bit of TLC. I've got 176K on my '89 and it runs like a champ. I chage the oil/oil filter every 2500 to 3000 miles and tune it up once a year. Depending...

    94 Seat Help

Thanks for the reply. I'll try them, but if they don't have one I may see what it would cost to ship the one you have. As fo the welding...It's been welded to death over the last 5 years. It's now just worn out.

    94 Seat Help

I'm trying to help my disabled neighbor out. He has a 94 Grand Cherokee that has a broken frame on the cushion part of the front drivers seat. I've checked the bone yards in my area and out of 7 yards, there was only one Grand and it had no seats! Does anybody have a front seat or at least the...

    94 Seat Help

Thanks for the reply. The problem is that the mounting points on the bottom have been ripped out on three of the four corners. He has to push really hard aginst the seat to get his legs in since his knees don't bend too far. I have already welded the frame where I can (several times over the...
