I'm looking for one that's mechanically sound. Rust free. The paint job is the least of my concerns. Bone stock is preferable. I'd rather lift it myself.
I decided to look on the other side of the country. I'm not buying this to drive a couple years. This is keeper.
Well if you have any advice on good places to find one that would be appreciated.
Maybe info on what some of the trouble spots I need to look are. That would be great.
Healthier, not "look how nice and even they spayed it.
I'm here trying to learn something. If you don't have any good info go troll somewhere else.
How old are you?
Old enough to ask questions when I don't have the answer. Is it your time of the month?
Where in my post did I say it looks better because it's evenly coated?
Trust me. Before I pay for it I'm driving it. I don't want to waste a plane ticket if it's not worth the time. I posted on here to get opinions and ideas of what I need to look for and where to find those trouble spots once I see it. That coating threw me off.
Why do you think I'm here asking for input? Because I'm not used to dealing with rust or the ways people cover it up. It's unlikely the car was parked. If you read my previous post i cross checked the vehicles registraition records, maintenance and warranty records. It was driven about 6k a year...
It's in Edgewood MD. 2 owner car first owner had it 16 years. I checked both reports and service record. Everything matches. No accidents. Under 100,000 miles. I ran the reports myself just Incase and to compare with what they gave me.
