I wouldn't plan on pulling a jeep around with it to often, for game it would be fine. You could also get a pulley block to double your line pull rating but it would be super slow and you would only be able to pull like 20 ft before you had move the anchor. The small winches don't have much line...

I have a cheap dynomax turbo muffler for 5 years that sounds fairly good. I removed the tailpipe and it droned a lot until I put a turndown on it. It's still loud but no drone and I can still hear the tires over it on the highway. I haven't had any heat problems but I didn't tuck it up very well...

Ben, are you going to double shear that bottom track-bar mount?

Use the angle iron like redrider said but add a plate to the backside of the cross-member. Bolts through the angle and back plate will sandwich the cross-member and strengthen your mount system a lot. No welding involved.

Check into the GPAA for sure. Decent amount of information through them and access to quite a few claims. Panning would be a great hobby to get everyone outdoors. Just don't expect to see much color in your pan until you get to moving a lot of material, but for kids even a little bit of dust...

No pictures, but when I redid my lawn flares I put a section of 3/8" all thread through the outside edge. Made it look a lot better as you can shape the flares how you want and they will stay that way. Also I cut off the t-shaped end of the edging.

I use an old wire brush to kind of sweep the dust off the magnet. It seems to work decently. If the brush becomes magnetized hit the back of it on something to release the iron dust.
