Had a 01 Suburban come into the shop with no brakes. Come to find out customer had a 'trusted mechanic friend' use compression fittings and rubber fuel line to 'fix' rusted lines. Spent All freaking day today trying to bleed the fronts just to find out this hack used a nail to plug the front...

Sent to body shop yesterday. On the hunt for rear quarters now.

Been working on the Bel Air, goes to the body shop next week for blasting, metal work and paint. Hope to have frame back by end of the month to fix and get the 496 bolted in with all lines mocked. Down to 3 XJs plus the buggy, hope to have 2 of them sold by spring so just my 2dr left if I cant...

Its completely worth the trip. Mostly rock with little mud and the best camp grounds and shower house. I try to make it down every few years and just started planning a trip for late April this weekend.

The rusty but trusty 8.1 pulling my sister's that blew its tcase last month in Champagne. Having AC would have made the trip easier.

Renix in the buggy has developed a 2500rpm idle. TPS is in spec, iac is clean and working, no vacume leaks. Had it down to 650 by adjusting tps but rev it up and it stays at 2500. This is what i get for letting it sit too much last few years.

Heading out for the last day of the Iowa Sate Fair. If I could I would be out there all day every day and I hate people and big crowds but just something about the fair makes it not a big deal.

Bought another 2dr. 98 2wd with a bad 4.o and almost no body rust

Another XJ gone, 3 left plus the Eagle wagon. End of era, at one time we had almost 60 jeep products, mostly XJs, on the lot. Nephue drives an 00 4dr, I have my 98 2dr so not out of them just out of the game. If I ever fully clean the shop and barn I may let Colin sell all my parts.

Keep the blue one. Love that color and always on the look for a clean 2dr, running or not just needs to be clean

Officially opened our doors 25 years ago today. Been a crazy ride with some nasty lows and some great highs. Cheeres to the next 25 being fun and prosperous!

Sleep and pee(at night) in the camper but shower and cook in the house. Thats all assuming they have a house on their property.

I would drive 24hrs for the right one.

Saw one the other day, looks better in person thats for sure. He should like it.
