I have a pop up camper and thats what I did. I charge an auto batt during the day and have lights and a fan at night, works pretty good. I dont usually camp near electric or in pay sites so helped save on batteries for flashlights and lanterns.
if you unhook neg cable and turn ignition to on position it drains the computer backup battery, only takes a few minutes then turn off ignition hook up cable and codes should be gone. works on my 96
I used to work in a large salvage yard, we got about $5 each from the recycler..thats for a giant dumpster full... Assorted sizes and styles...was about 5 or six years ago though.
