Long arms are a very very good upgrade probably some of the best $$ i have put into my XJ. I run the Rough Country LA upgrade kit, my pre-existing RE 4.5 Superflex kit had no problem with it. I just swapped the arms and perfect! the really nice thing is the crossmember, and arms so much beefier...

Well my best guess from the last time it happened is that my lower shock mount is relocated to the LCA, and neither of the LCAs have skids of gussets to hold them on the axle any better then stock... and the stock welds are just enough to hold the LCA. they were not designed to take the beating...
