I have a spare flywheel out of a 97 ax15 tranny. I also have a 95 aw4 where the starter won't engage the flywheel/flexplate. If I find that the starter is good and the flywheel is bad on the 95, is my spare 97 ax15 flywheel interchangable with the 95 aw4 flywheel?
Have you tried replacing the check valve on the master cylinder. It's like a $10 part. I had a problem with my brakes where I had to stand on the brake pedal to get the jeep to stop. The pedal would move only slightly and was like stepping on a rock. I replaced the check valve and the brakes now...
I fixed my "tailgate". Just a bit of adjustment on the mechanism and some cleaning and it works like new.

If you look closely you can tell the brake lights are on. Those horrible XJ brakes must have locked up on him and he's sliding (reason for no wheel spin).:wierd:
