I just wanted to thank everybody for taking the time to reply to my post. As always this is a great community and I hope I can contribute back to the group on those occassions when I have something worthwhie to contrribute :laugh3:
I have two exceptional mechs (Fellow Jeep Heads) that used to...
Hi Eric,
With the mileage on yours I would first look at some of the obvious things such as a tune up (plugs, wires, cap, rotor, air filter). If you haven't replaced the O2 sensors yet it might be getting close to the time to do that. I had a similar problem with my 98 and it was simply time...
That is very good to know. Thank you for that. This tells me something about the garage I was using
On to the coolant thing; so if it is a head gasket that needs to be replaced, is there anything else I should look to do while that's being done?

Also, whoever owned this particular Jeep B4 me appears to have cross threaded the filler hole cap in the diff. Does anyone make a rubber plug to put in place for this cap or di I have to buy a new diff cover...
Thanks for the reply. Sure can't avoid pot holes. :laugh2: So I've got a 2 1/2" OME with .75 spacers up front and full size MJ shackles in the rear to bring her to 3". Also have an SYE and a Tom Wood shaft. What could I do to modify this existing lift enough (with the fewest $$$ possible) to...
Hi Gang,
With a 3" inch lift on my 98 can I temporarily run 32 inch meats exclusively on the highway? Only asking because I have to put new tires on her this fall but won't have the $$$ to lift her again until next spring. I wouldn’t enjoy buying another set of 31x10.5's right now only to have...
