I´ll change all fluid and test again. Tps is new.

Level ok. Fluid is light brown. I'm thinking to do a flush the transmission fluid. When cold, transmission only change to 2nd when engine rev up, or I take the foot off the gas.

If I remove and clean the valve body, the plates/gaskets must to be replaced? If yes, Where Can I bought them?

Hello everybody. I have a XJ 4.0 auto 1998, since last month my tranny start to delays to shift reverse when cold. Now, reverse don´t engages until fluid reach 150ºF. Can someone help me?

Hello everybody! I have a Jeep Cherokee XJ 1998 4.0 Auto, NP242, all stock. A few mouth ago, my transfer case start to Clunk (very strong) when I put the gas off in 2WD, or 4wd parttime. It´s feel like the sleeve mode is slliping, so i disassembled the TC and i saw this...

Today a replace the engine and transmission mount. They was bad. I will test it tomorrow
