i looked in my haynes and the procedure or parts do not match up at all.

there is a long bolt that goes from the power steering bracket to the idler so i take it if this is tighetned it will bring the idler up. but how do i loosen the idler so that bolt will move it.

i just did my floors and theres a good chance that when you get that carpet up and tap away at it , that thumb sized hole it will get to be about as big as your first. the ONLY way i feel this should be fixed is by cutting out the area and plug weld in some pieces of 16ga to 18ga sheet...
im pretty sure what he meant by binary was that even if you dont have a chain in t case it will still drive the rear wheels normally.

yes i did get it resovled. turns out im a moron and it was a bad motor mount. brought it to a tranny guy he stepped in it. put it in reverse held the brake and gave it some gas. you could hear the fan slapping the shroud. have a friend at an auto parts store and got a new one for 8 bucks and...

ok i found a good write up on jeepin.com about u joint change.
but has anyone heard of greasing the slip yoke?
i have a 96 cherokee sport 4.0 aw4 231
i think at least one of the u joints are bad and also just before i come to a stop theres a loud clunk and same when i take off. i heard this can be the slip yoke sticking because of lack of grease.
the 92 which is also aw4 231 . has two new u joints...
no nothing beats this one. my dad did this one...
take 5 pigs
number them on thier sides with spray paint. numbers 1, 2, 3, 4, and 6
let them loose in the school.
they will look for the #5 pig for days
i ahve a 96, it has two sensors one in cat and one in manifold. so should i change both of them?
becuase i heard an o2 sensor is like 100 a piece then the 100 cat.
anyone got prices on o2 sensor?
