Anyone know the correct size, length, and thread of the 2 bolts for the starter on an 01' 4.0 auto XJ?

Recently replaced my starter. It only had one bolt. Tried several bolts in the lower hole, that threads to the bell housing. I cannot for the life of me, find the correct size bolt and thread. Ive got a 3/8" bolt in there now...that won't crank down tight. I put some lock tight on it and am...
