'99 cherokee sport.
Battery Load tested good
Starter tested good (soleniod, motor, bendix etc.)
All fuses that read ignition/starter/etc. all check good
While the starter is disconnected, I do have power all the time on the starter cable and I do have power on the ignition/solenoid wire(...
Has anyone heard of using an air filter for a honda 300EX ATV to replace the box and the tube on an Xj? I was trying to find the article on the Cherokee America website but no luck!! thanks in advance
Thanks fellas I'm not quite sure what to do. I dont have the funds but love the offroad heh? Maybe i will get that coffee can out and start saving for that Rusty's 3 inch lift with full leaf packs.
Does anybody have any experience with Rocky Road Lifts other than the rockrails. Are their products as good as they say? How about their 3 inch lifts? Thanks in advance
I have Kumho 32 by 11.50 and they have worked well for me. Went to Attica, Indiana(badlands) never had a problem. Nice aggresive tire with not alot of (mudder tire noise). I would recommend them. But hey what good is word next to the most experienced of NAXJA.
ps. get'em you wont be dissappointed
Some friends and I are thinking of going to Attica. I am kinda leary because I have a 99 cherokee with just a 2'' lift and 30'' AT tires and a few other mods under the hood. Will I be out of my league in trying to offroad there? Thanks in advance for the comments
I will let you in on something. Save yourself the time and trouble and take that kit to a professional ASE certified mechanic. I can't tell you in the last two months or so how many retrofit kits I have seen botched up that come in to my shop. Whether it came with an accumulator or receiver...
I have a 99 sport with 123,000+ and had the same conditions I went through the haines manuel and tested the sensor that is located on the bell housing of my trans. i believe it was called the top dead center sensor. I tested it according to the manuel and it was bad. its a real easy part to...
I have a '99 sport, did some trimming on the fenders for tire fit. If it gives anybody an idea, its cut just even with the bottom of the washer resevior (drivers side)on both sides. in the rear right at the weld mark. are their any flares used successfully out there to clean this look up...
drag link drag link drag link. I can't tell you how many jeeps I have aligned and even though my specs. are correct I still had to bring it back in a adjust the drag link. If your steering wheel is off to the left you turn you drag link clockwise. if its off to the right vise versa.
first of all Autozone is the wrong place to start. The hire numnut people that have no idea about the difference between a wheel bearing to a water pump. they just see its next in alphabetical order. I dont know if you have a auto parts store that hires knowledgeable people but a dealer will do...
