AC Cycling / secondary radiatior fan INOP

that makes more sence. I had a 99 prior to getting the 01, so was troubleshooting the 'fan problem' for a 99. I knew there were several changes, but hadn't seen anything about the fan cycles up until now. the 'quick on and off' with the fan, I am betting is a quick burst, built in so each time...

    exhaust!

notable GOOD change.... only got to drive with the complete system about 10 days prior to loosing the Jeep. Was enough highway driving to notice a mileage difference, but never got a chance to put a calculator to it to make it official.

    exhaust!

I know on mine, the main restriction was the crossover pipe from the header down to the cat. I had a local shop replace the whole system, cat back, 2.5 pipe, Flowmaster 50, and came back in a week later for the matching crossover pipe. I got squeezed in on a late Friday, and they had time to get...

    NP231 vs NP242

thanks all for the info! Looks like Tom's does have the SYE kit for both, which takes care of my main concerns. All I have found says both cases are more than live-able for my driving style of 95% daily driver.... 5% camping/geocaching/Boy Scouts and such I should be a proud Jeep owner...

    NP231 vs NP242

I am having to shop for a new Cherokee as mine went one on one with a F350 at about 50MPH and came out a tie (IE, both trucks lost!) My 99 had a NP231 transfer case, and it seems all the ones I am finding are NP242's. It appears both are quailty products with respectable reliability histories...

    Why does it sit crooked

Am having the same issue..... how many of you have removed the the rear sway bar, and still have the spare mounted on the driver's side rear? Beings how the sway bar's main puropse is to even out the stresses on the suspension, it seems to me, taking it off, with a weight bias to the left (IE...

    Hankook DynaPro MT RT03

*bump!* Am seriously looking at the same tires... has anyone had any history with these? Have had great luck with Hankook's low profile tires in years past, but have never had any of their off road tires. Thanks for any feedback!

    CARS

Just got home from the movie... that was about the most entertaining movie I have seen! (might help that I, and my whole household are gearheads, but I am betting not!) The story is fun,the animation is wonderful, and I am sure there are enough jokes and details missed the first time, that it...

    Fuel gage mystery

the fuel gage on my 99 Sport has a life of it's own. It will behave 90% of the time, but will every couple days it will not work. It doesn't matter if it's the first start of the day. Most times, if it is going to act up, the guage will stay on empty and low fule light will light, but every so...
