    License Plate Light

    I would check the socket with a test light, just to see if you have juice, then check the fuse panel to see if that fuse spot has juice,and if not start working your way through the wire testing it and looking for breaks. Thats how I would go at it -Steve

    I decided to go to aftermarket gauges, but they werent going to fit in the stock cluster area, so I started thinking and this is what I came up with. Its just roughed in right now but you get the idea. So what do you all think?

    Check the ujoint to see if there grease fitting.

    I haven't had this problem with an XJ, but I have had it in a few other vehicles. It could be the Vibes, but it could also be a U-joint that was a little on the tired side, and the angle is compoundint the problem. It could just need a u-joint or some grease. Its a place to start -Steve
