Does replacement floor pan cover this??

Yea 300 for the two pieces and then 300 for shipping.. that's a buttload of shipping money. Yea I'm glad I took those classes for welding. Glad the Auto Technician degree required welding. Waiting on some cash I can hide from the wife before I tear into this thing. Or decide weither I...

    Dana 30 Gear Oil

I think the most common is 85w-90 gear oil. Also known as GL5. It's relatively cheap. Oh and be weary when your working with it.. it's a pain to get off of stuff and it smells like buttcrack. It should also be the same stuff you use in your t-case.

    NSS sort of works

As far as the emissions testings on 96 and newer cars.. the obdII port is where all of the testing is done from. The computer itself will fail you for a check engine light, not just the technician. The emissions testing on OBDII cars tests to see if all systems are Ready or Not Ready. So if you...

Does replacement floor pan cover this??

Yea.. I am kinda pissed about it. But I don't live in houston anymore where rust isn't a big deal.. In omaha it's hard to find cars without rust. I could probably just sell the motor and get twice what I payed for the whole truck. I got about 4 1/2 months before I'm gonna need this puppy to get...

    head gasket ?

The water pump job is not exactly hard but if I were you I would take it to a shop. Your looking at 60-100 in parts and according to alldata, 1.7 hours of labor which is roughly 140-170 bucks (depending on type of shop and labor costs)... plus tax, shop fees, and coolant.. your looking at...

Does replacement floor pan cover this??

I recently picked up another XJ for dirt cheap. Pulled the carpet to reveal Rust-o-rama 2007 and am picking up a new floor pan. Need to see if this, (http://www.discountjeepparts.com/product_info.php/cPath/3121_3123_3136/products_id/23946) floor pan will cover this...

Just got a 97 Cherokee and have ??

Yea your truck should only have 2 o2 sensors.. not 4. Since you only have 1 header. If it was a V6 you would likely have four. One before the cat and one after the cat. Bank1 sensor 1, bank1 sensor 2. Most o2 sensors need a 24 mm wrench or a special o2 sensor socket. Generally not hard to...

    AC question

well if you go mudding alot.... mud gets stuck in the ac condensor and does not let it cool well. check out your condensor to make sure it's not caked in it (just look through front grill). Another diagnosis would say turn the car on and ac on... watch for your compressor to click on and off...

2wd to 4wd swap. help and links needed.

I have an extremely nice 93 white XJ with almost no rust on it. I live in the midwest where everything has rust on it. Problem is... it's 2wd. So I've been trying to buy an old P.O.S. that is rusted all to hell for a couple hundred bucks and just swapping over the 4wd from it. I was thinking...
