    Vibrations/Grinding From Floorboard

Did you ever figure this out? I have a similar problem that I have isolated to the lf hub bearing or a pinion or carrier bearing. I'll know more this Saturday when I remove the hub bearings.

1994 XJ intermittent misfire/poor idle on startup

Any suggestions are appreciated, I replaced the TPS with no effect. It is now doing it when cold then intermittently after it warms up. I removed all grounds and cleaned with no effect. Codes are 12 and 41.

1994 XJ intermittent misfire/poor idle on startup

I pulled the plugs and brought the engine to #1 TDC compression, to check distributor position & timing. Appears correct. Cylinders look scarred, parallel rings instead of cross hatch, some vertical scarring. I think the engine was overheated and locked up. The bottom was freed up, but the head...

1994 XJ intermittent misfire/poor idle on startup

My 1994 Jeep Cherokee Sport idles poorly for about a minute after starting in the morning. While driving it feels like I'm getting kicked in the rear. Sometimes it does it and sometimes not. The motor was rebuilt about 2000 miles ago (according to previous owner) the head has definately been...

95 no start need a gurus help

No starts are easy. Take your time and don't start switching a bunch of parts, otherwise you'll never know why it wouldn't start. Try intermittent no starts or other problems which can't be duplicated on demand. Good luck. Check fuses and fusible links also.

    My brakes suck

Checked everything out today. LR shoes were not adjusted (adjuster frozen), shoes suck/worn out, pads have been seriously overheated. Cleaned and adjusted rear brakes, bled system, reassembled and test drove. Pedal is perfect, stops good no pulling. I am ordering the pads and shoes y'all...

How do I keep my coils from falling out???

Get several pieces of PVC pipe in different diameters and put them one inside the other like a telescoping antenna. Anchor this contraption top and bottom inside the coils. Problem solved. You lengthened your bump stop without sacrificing articulation. Spring can't fall out. P. S. Hide your...

    My brakes suck

My 94 has a low pedal and crappy brakes. I just got it Sunday, I replaced a caliper today (locked up). I'll let you know what I find tomorrow when I tear into it. I'm glad you said the OE stuff sucks, I normally use OE on all my stuff to maintain the original feel.

    My brakes suck

Did you replace the master cylinder? If so did you bench bleed it before installing? Re-bleed everything. Run as much fluid through it as you can stand. Attach a piece of clear tubing to the bleeder to help see air bubbles. Recheck adjustment and make sure the shoes and hardware are installed...
