Yep. Cleaned the whole intake manifold when installed the exhaust manifold.

Haven't done compression Fuel pressure is up to the book. When it hesitates and bucks- fuel pressure doesn't change.

I've had that issue. Ended up being the TRansfer case. I'd put it in 4wd and either left or right turns would be nearly impossible to turn all the way and it's a bumpy SLOW turn.... Kind of a feeling of the front end about to break. Also, the lever would get stuck on 4wd at times.

What symptoms do you have?

Let me add, I drove it yesterday for about a mile or two with stops and no signs of anything until I was about to et home. It bucked (misfire) at about 25 then at stop it shut off without a sign. Notice, only when warm. Didn't want to start until 1 min of it sitting.

The previous owner bought it and installed it. Maybe he's off a tooth or two? It starts. Rough idle then dies. As far as I know, on a HO timing is not adjustable? But even so, would a tooth or two cause it to stall at a stop or buck when taking off then stalling?
