it was the fusible link for the constant 12 volt supply. Thanks for the help.

The other day my volts dropped off and my alternator sounded like a supercharger. removed it found a hole in it. Replaced and then ran the engine after charging the battery. Volts still in the red. Brought alternator back to Kragen, they tested it twce and said it was fine. Go back home...

Im in anyday after the 8th cause right now im in Italy then the serrias then I have to work a 24 hour shift at my station in Hamilton City. So the anytime on the 9th works.

ok so, I was drving my 89' MJ with the 4.0 and BA10/15 and it started making this pretty bad whinning noise. Its like a super charger whine. It sounds like its coming from the back of the engine or the frnt of the tranny. I speeds up with higher RPMs. Anyone have anyideas? and it is louders that...

mine did the same and i couldnt find any blown fuses, the local shop even ran an electrical test and it said the fuse was fine. We replaced the fuse just for kicks and it fixed everything. So if you have a new fuse replace the gauge fuse and see if that helps.
