--Rusty’s 6.5” Lift with adjustable control arms...
I've removed the bottom 2 leafs off my Rusty's 6.5" leaf pack. It's settled down to where the front coils have settled. Shackle angle is near 45* and it definitely rides much smoother than with all the leafs in. My kidneys have been thanking me.
You'll have to forgive me for being a little uncertain. My multimeter is qutie subpar. But it looked like it was about 6v. sorry if it doesn't help. I'll try to get my hands on a better one soon.
Got the Speedo to work, but the tach still doesn't. I'm having trouble finding the tach source on the dash harness. I test the plugs where it would theoretically be according to the printed circuit, but I don't get any voltage from it. Seems odd. Is the source for the tach on the distributor?
Did it just stop working? Mine stopped working midway through a cluster swap, but I removed the gauge from the cluster. Then, cleaned up the connections on the printed circuit. It was starting to gunk up. Just a thought.
I'm pretty sure that it's the right one. It looks almost identical to the stock one minus warning lights/tach. The printed circuits on the back look almost the same minus the fuel/tach area.
According the some research, http://www.jeepin.com/features/gaugeswap/index.shtml, it should work...
I know that the instrument cluster swap should be straight forward, and it was for the most part. I made sure the that it the speedo worked before i actually started the swap. I adjusted the new cluster to the correct mileage. Somewhere, i did something wrong and now the speedo doesn't work on...
