Looking to trade front drive shaft. I have a front shaft from an auto 231 and its to long as mine is a 5 speed. I'm looking for one to fit a 231/ax15. Mine is in good shape with good u joints, looking for one in the same condition. Thanks

I was looking in to the H&T but have a 231 with C8.25 and the AX15, is there a JY shaft I can use for the rear or do I have to do a custom built one since a front one wont work?

I've only broke one shaft and it was the Ujoint which ended up taken out the ears. That was with an aussie 3.07s and 32s. Switched out to the 297s and no issues since knock on wood lol.

Gotta a quick question about rebuilding my front DS. The centering ball on mine broke and I found the replacement parts but I am wondering if the ball part seems too damaged to rebuild or if it looks like it will be fine before I order the parts. Here are a few pics.

My buddy had one similar to that, his had two 1/4 plates the sandwiched the hitch and had a pivot so it would swing down and he was still able to have a d-ring in the hitch itself. He made his with some scrap he had layin around
