    I have seen some vehicles that only use 4 bolts for the bellhousing-to-transmission mounting. I think the 91ax-15 has like 10 or 11?? What if only 5 or 6 bolt holes matched up? Would that be too weak?

    I have a 42RE right now and my t-case is 23 spline. Will the input gears be the same? See, I am swapping a 1991 AX-15 into my ZJ and I am trying to gather alot of info before I plunge into it. Any info would be great. Thanks alot.

    I am buying one of these, but first I need to know what was the spline count for the transfer case (NP231) in that year? I have been told that depending on year, the transmission had different spline counts for the t-case. TIA guys.

    3" BS too much?

    You could probobly use 3" to 3.5 " backspacing. Thats not much backspacing, but it will be fine I'm sure. I have a ZJ on 33's and I have 4" backspacing. I wish I had gotten 3.75" or 3.5" so it would stick out more.

    Yea, but they even discontinued the skid plates that you used to could buy from the for $30. Do you think they still have the pedal/sled assembly? I will call them sometime, but the stealership is expensive.
