looks like i'll be going this way. i had wanted some BFG MT'S, but goshhh those thing are expensive. then i thought about bighorns, but they look aweful alot like all the muddawgs that the cheap rednecks run around here, so MTZ's it is...on their Classic II wheels.

What would be better for fixing the speedometer after bigger tires? I have seen where people use different tooth'd gears, but then i found this:

It talks about stuff like engine performance and tranny shift points. is this worth...
this might have been covered before, but anyways...
is there any real articulation difference between the RE SF and SR kits? I know that the SF kits have disco's and some special lca that is supposed to increase flex, but does it really do that much?
oh that reminds me of a couple of things. if your rear shock bolts break, like mine had....and the mechanics twisted the 2nd pair of shocks and used POS self-tapping sheet metal screws....just drill the original holes all the way through the floor, remove the rear carpet, slide a nice long bolt...
You're gonna have to do some pretty substantial stuff to clear 33's. TJs can get away with shorter lift and fit those tires, but not XJs. I'd sell the 33's and use the money for lift and smaller tires.
The big question: What are you gonna use it for?
