    33 or 35s

I snapped a shot looking down the side (with out the tire stuffed). Like I said, I had steering problems with 31's and stock axles. Tires were always rubbing on the LCA's, inner fenders, etc. Of course I was running stock rims with 5.25" back spacing... Anyone that says 35's on 3.55's is...

    33 or 35s

DON'T GO 35'S ON STOCK GEARS OR AXLES!! Personally I couldn't imagine going 35's on stock width axles, I had steering issues with 31's on my D30/8.25. Here's mine on 35's, about 5.5" lift, full width HPD44/Ford 9" axles and 4.88 gears. I'm very pleased with this gear and tire size. Sorry...

    Jam Nut!

Man I hate to break your spirit (I too use to think that), but no they don't. The reason I know this is because I have been looking EVERYWHERE for 7/8" x 18 tpi jam nuts for my TRE's. Evidently 18 is not a thread pitch that they like to put on a 7/8" shaft... even the chevy dealer doesn't have them!

Full width HPD44/9" locked swap. Flange output parking brake. 35's.

    Home made hood vent

Yeah, these are really nice. I think what most people are asking is how did you fix the screen to the hood? If I'm not mistaken you can get that door edging from any automotive store... even in krome if you need some extra bling on your ride.

Warrior Tube doors/no doors at all?

I just recently did the "cut door pin" mod and when the doors are off, it is great. But getting the doors off and putting them back on is a complete PITA!!! I will only remove my doors for a 2+ day wheeling trip, any less and it's just not worth it. I haven't noticed the body twisting to the...

    NEW CB Attenna

So the coax doesn't ground through the connector? If that is the case why don't the coax makers leave the brade terminated with a spade terminal, in which case there wouldn't be a water concern.

Doing Lift Need Help With Leaf Spring Bolt

Well I'm glad I'm not the only one having these problems... http://www.naxja.org/forum/showthread.php?t=1004824 I used oxy/acety torch to cut the springs then after using a utility knife to cut through the rubber I used that torch to heat the sleeve... worked like a charm. Didn't help too much...

2004 Ford Explorer... IRS or solid axle??

Tell your membership to treat guests like guests and the guests might act like guests. If you don't give respect, you won't get it. Read any other thread I've posted in, any problems there??? (Since we're starting over... and since I've been warned to play nice) Thanks for the suggestion...

    Leaf Spring Nutsert busted loose

I had considered this but was worried about crushing the uniframe rail, plus the lines running down the drivers side rail would be an issue. I think I might try your last idea out. Right now though my concern is more of how to get the bolt out... Thanks:exclamati

    Leaf Spring Nutsert busted loose

I've found plenty of info on shock nutserts and cross member nutserts but does anyone have a good remedy for a leaf spring front bolt with a loose nutsert? So this last weekend I started taking my rear springs off, got the shackles loose with no problem, busted 3 of the 4 u-bolts but that's no...

Re: 2004 Ford Explorer... IRS or solid axle?? Don't worry about my thin skin, your ol' lady liked it just fine. (yes, I went there) Besides, it looks to me like it's you guys that can't take the heat. Hell I make one little post and there are 5 or 6 people that obviously couldn't take it...
