I'll try the lube first. I don't weld either, although I'm really close to buying a welder and learning right now. I think I'm going to try and see if it's the caliper seized up first before I do anything drastic.

Ok, so you would replace the whole knuckle? What about grinding it down a little bit so it has a flat spot to move along?
Sorry to bring back an old thread but I am having the same problem. Is this what Warlock meant with the groove in the knuckle? It looks like it was made that way but maybe that's just how it wears.
I thought about doing the same thing myself. If I were to try I would get some short self-tapping sheet metal screws and caulk the holes. Idk how waterproof you could get it that way though. Interested to see what others have done.
Just got the Rocky road drop brackets. The ride is SO much better and they were easy to install. Personally I wouldn't trim anything, just get the brackets asap.
