What you are describing sounds like typical discoloration on stainless metal due to heat. You can always pull your spark plugs and check them. They tell you the truth about what is happening in each cylinder.
If it were true what the muffler man said, then the amount of fuel to somehow...
Start simple and check all connections and wires you can trace. Then swap out the Low and high pressure switches with known goods to see if that changes anything. After that, I hate to say PCM swap but maybe that is the culprit.
Someone else can verify. One line will be cold (but not frozen)...
Are you short arms adjustable? Would that help correct your issue? At least improve it maybe.
I am currently dealing with a similar issue but its a bit more advanced with new upper coil mounts with air bumps etc. I am guessing and checking the angles for the coil mounts before I burn it all in...
Bringing it back from the dead-ish but this seemed interesting.
I can’t say I have ever heard of someone switching to a single cardan setup. I believe it would be due to the travel involved with their suspension and if its not that, they have been told DC is the only way to go. Rather than...
Would love to fix the image sizes but guess I can’t edit my own post. So that’s lame.
EDIT: Just gotta pay your taxes and you can edit your posts again.
EDIT2: Stuck with links because this board is out of date and can’t handle the truth.
Finally been able to get some work done on this thing. First main focus has been cutting out the upper coil spring mounts and adjusting them inboard more to fix the awful coil spring angles I had. Air bumps would eat into the coils at full bump and almost ride height. I don’t know what I was...
I have had great luck with Blue Top Steering Gears. However that costs more money than the cheaper remans. But you’re getting a quality rebuilt box. Also consider a steering box brace. That will also significantly improve your steering response. You could potentially have other sources of play...
Re-oiling this thread. Time to blow the dust off yet again and gear up for another racing venue. Plan to race in the Darkwater 100 up near Rausch Creek this year. Helped a friend race his race jeep last summer and we had a grand time. It is a 40-50 mile race for time. No major rock obstacles...

You may be pulling the slip yoke out too far from the transfer case. Which means your yoke is riding more so on the end of the output shaft. That will cause a vibration. Typically you want the yoke 1" out from the output seal so there is a relatively even amount of slip in and out. But I am used...
I use Air Lift bags on my F250. Well worth the money hands down. If you do go the bag route, make sure you treat yourself to the in cab switch and compressor kit. I originally got just the bag kit with not compressor. Once I snagged a compressor, I was sold.
I’ve heard springs are okay if you...
Little update. Ended up with a 10k trailer. Bought it from Ironman who I had been borrowing it from all these years. Absolute steal of a price so it was a no brainer for me to snag it. With the history I’ve had towing with this thing, couldn’t be happier. I’ve never had a significant trailer...
