I just installed the older (original 1991) headlight buckets, fit like they were made for it (kinda thought they were the same!). One adjuster is on a different side, still mes the side to side ajustment, so......... I assume this "tab" is part of the fender?? If so, this sucks...............

On installation of the newer clip, I see all the studs along the hoodline line up, what about the pair of studs in the front of each fender?? The older slip has two spots beside the headlight, the newer does not??

The brackets Im talking about are the ones above the skid, these are before the brackets are installed that mounts from the frame brackets to the outer body pinch welds.(and before removal of original control arm brackets, for a reference) As it sits now, awaiting completion

I was told that a short adjustable upper is so common to all their kits (long and short!) that they always had them in stock.
