Harmonic balancer issue.Check it out and see how the dampaner inside the balancer for wear and check it to make sure the balancer has not sunken in away from the alingment it should be with the rest of the pulleys.I kept going thru belts because of that,the balancer looked good until i pulled it...

I did check the ground and it was nasty but replaced the ground strap.The only thing i can think of is the senders from napa are incorrecty configured.everything else has been done and replcaed.I even replaced the other 2 cooling system sensors (block&rad fan)

Maybe hub bearings?If it stops on turns it sounds like a bearing problem,or just crap tires,jack er up and shake down the front end for loose parts.

How to I get everything out of the system?meaning how to I get the old r-12 and oil out so i can put 134a in without siezing it up?

My system had a bad leak and leaked all the r-12 out.I replcaed the leaking part and filled,thats going to be ok right?

I have a 89 xj 4.0L Im retroing the system and since i pained my engine compartment i cannot find the r-12 specs anymore.Does anyone know the r-12 capacity?I need to know how many pounds of r-12 to fill so I can convert the r-134a.

Mine does the same,I used a in line filter and that helped alot.Its because its a poor quality amp.Get yourself a new "good"one

Bad fuel pump it was not,It was the hose on the fuel pump inside the tank .It somjehow came off the fitting that goes from the pump to the outlet INSIDE THE TANK????.Thats a first ive seen although it was a 20 min fix.Easiest fuel pump EVER! I just replaced the whole pump while i was in...
