Honestly, I have no idea. I'm pretty new to XJ ownership. I've owned Jeeps in the past but the most off road I've done was around the farm. Unless you count some of the driving I did in the Army.:gee:
Without getting too far into politics this is my opinion-
The military times is owned by Gannett and many people see them as having a somewhat liberal slant.
The dems are trying to get a lot of spending left on the table and the repubs are trying to cut a lot. Sooo the dems would like to put...
If you're thinking of the pending gov shutdown and the related article in the military times I wouldn't worry too much.
The military times is trash and pay didn't stop during the last "shut down" in the 90's. I doubt seriously it will stop this time either.
I'm near Greenville, NC.
Started keeping a notebook of things that I'm reading in OEM Tech that I know need to be looked at like vacuum hoses, fuel management, etc. What a great resource this site is!
Thanks for the nice welcome everyone-
Hello all, I've been reading up on here for a while and was just given an '88 XJ. It's a running/ driving project and overall is in pretty decent shape. I live in eastern NC.
Right now it needs a brake flush and overall tune up. The tires are just plain old street tires on the factory steelies...
