If you're thinking of the pending gov shutdown and the related article in the military times I wouldn't worry too much. The military times is trash and pay didn't stop during the last "shut down" in the 90's. I doubt seriously it will stop this time either.

Yeah, we're probably several hours apart since I'm only 45 mins from the coast, thanks though.

Hello all, I've been reading up on here for a while and was just given an '88 XJ. It's a running/ driving project and overall is in pretty decent shape. I live in eastern NC. Right now it needs a brake flush and overall tune up. The tires are just plain old street tires on the factory steelies...
