So if I get a stock Jeep tweeter I should be able to plug it into this connection (in the pic above) and everything should work right? I guess what I am saying is, is there a "built in" crossover such that the signal coming in from this wire is specifically the "high" frequenecy signal. Thanks...
I have the CD/Cassette Combo with 3-Graphic Equalizer. As for location, I want them to be in the triangular corner of the doors. I wonder if I could pry this peice open if I would see wires or not....
How can I check if my Jeep XJ was prewired for this? Is there an easy way to check this?
Here are my specs.
2000 Jeep Cherokee Sport
3" Rusty's lift
Dynomax Super Turbo Exhaust
Cool Air Intake
Thanks guys for your help. I am still trying to decide between 255/75R16 and 265/75R16 TOC A/T's. Like I said before I don't wanna have to start cutting the fenders or installing an SYE if I can help it, but bigger tires I think would "look" better, I think the XJ will sit better on them. Seeing...
Ok What about 255/75R16's then...best of both worlds?? I don;t want to have to start trimming and upgrading my suspension yet. Just looking to replace my tires and maybe fit a larger size on if I can.
In the market for some new tires....currently have 245/75R16 Goodyear Wrangler MT/R's. I am thinking about making a change to the 265/75R16 TOYO OPEN COUNTRYA/T. (Might get a decent price for them) Wanted to know from you guys if this will FIT my setup or if I should just stick with 245/75R16...
Ok I am gonna go for it guys. I will buy the Hurst or B&M shifter for the TJ nv3550 and hopefully get it to fit nicely in my 2000 XJ without too much fuss.
I am not quite sure if I am gonna go with the Hurst or the B&M ... I think they are both basically the same.
Thanks Dirt. We were looking for short shifters for the nv3550 manual transmission for an XJ. I don't think anyone has made one for the XJ nv3550 manual. Only made it for the AX-15.
