I figured it out. It was the tempreture sensor. When I fixed it the jeep runs fine now.

I had a problem with not starting and the battery was perfect. It was the battery cable that was bad.

I have a 97 and it runs great. When I had 4 people and a bunch of gear going up hills there is a knock coming from the engine. With out anyone in the vehicle climbing hills has a very slight knock. I also here the knock when towing a boat. There is no knock sensor on the 97 right so what can...

I know you are all going back and forth but I just have a question you are saying that you can buy 4 liters of the stuff for the same as a gallon of the other. If I am not mistaken 4 liters is just about a gallon :chef: So you are saying it is the same amount for the same price but better...

I have a 97 4.0l and it has to to turn over alot to start. It may be the fuel pressure regualtor. Does it come with the fuel pump or is it a seperate part? I can get the pump assembly from the store for $130. But I would rather not go to the dealer for the part. Thanks jon

My 1997 4.0 takes forever to start much longer than my 1989. It turns over about 10 or more times but if I turn off the key and then turn it on again it starts right up. I thought it was the starter but it also hesitates alittle when just starting out so I thought it might be the fuel pump...
