89 xj 4.0 newly swapped 94 motor
fuel pump is not priming
batttery is brand new
I have 12 volts at terminal 30 at the fuel pump relay. when i jumper the relay I hear another relay (havent figured out what one, i think its by the radiator passenger side) clicking

I got the old one out and went to put the new (owner got it from a jeep wrecking yard) one in, and its wrong............ yay and the accelerator cable he got from the same place is broken on the end that clips into the pedal................. at least the upper airbox and tranny mount are right.
I am using the 94 intake. is there a write up on changing it?
also i have a loose vacuum line that i dont know where it goes in this pic it is in front of my thumb attached to the firewall, connected to a metal hard line (below the map sensor and to the right)

I have done some searching and cant find the answer to this.
I am putting a 94 motor in an 89 xj and i need to swap kickdown cables, what all is involved in replacing them?
I have not removed the convertor, I typically try to avoid that unless it hast to be done, due to hearing lots of install issues on many cars caused by them not being fully seated
one more question, does the flex plate have to go on a certain way clocking wise? and if so is there a pin that it indexes on or are the bolt holes asymmetrical so that it can only go on correctly?
I am guessing you are referring to the emissions part.
