I got the old one out and went to put the new (owner got it from a jeep wrecking yard) one in, and its wrong............ yay and the accelerator cable he got from the same place is broken on the end that clips into the pedal................. at least the upper airbox and tranny mount are right.

I have done some searching and cant find the answer to this. I am putting a 94 motor in an 89 xj and i need to swap kickdown cables, what all is involved in replacing them?

I have not removed the convertor, I typically try to avoid that unless it hast to be done, due to hearing lots of install issues on many cars caused by them not being fully seated

one more question, does the flex plate have to go on a certain way clocking wise? and if so is there a pin that it indexes on or are the bolt holes asymmetrical so that it can only go on correctly?
