It is not easier to diagnose a new car. A scanner only gives you and idea to where to start looking for a problem. It is still up to the tech to pinpoint the root of it.:twak:

why replace.(unless for peace of mind) but like xjbcca said, he put in a new one and it was leaking in less than a month. so there are no guaranties. flush it while you have it out and stick it back.

getting rid of the coil on plug would be a step backwards. if its that big of a hassle for you pay somebody to do it

did you replace both o2 sensors or just one?

try rolling the window up while tapping on the motor with a hammer. if it rolls up you know that the motor is sticking. if you are getting 12 volts at the motor when you press the switch and there is no movement then you can pretty much rule that it is a motor problem. but the hammer trick is...

we replace those sensors all of the time. they are cheap and easy to change yourself.

The fuel filter is in tank. not on the frame rail. And if im not mistaken its going to cost a little bit more than $12.00
