    Weekend is over...what did you get done?

    Pulled the dash. Hosed out the evaporator. HUGE difference. I think it was freezing up before, blows like a champ now. Buttoned up all the loose wires, replaced burnt out dash bulbs, etc. Only 103 today, I had to wear a jacket.:flame:

    Never tried circulating it when running. A friend an I on one drunk night did leave the tranny cooler lines disconnected on a car and start it by mistake. The fluid flows FAST. I just use a mightyvac to pull fluid thru to get the old stuff out of the box. It is not like it's a super high vacuum.

    Take off the high side line and pull a vacuum on it. Keep the res full, it will pull thru the box and out the low side.

    To Lift or Not

    Wife had a 98 2wd. We live on a dirt/gravel road. I put a 2" coil spacer / shackle lift on it with 30" BFG all terrains and new Sensatrac shocks. It was stiffer ride BUT it was also tighter as far as handling.

    I didn't take it off when I pulled mine a few weeks ago. It comes out fine with the intake and exhaust manifold on. The MAIN things are Disconnect the battery (as all the manuals state). Or yank the battery, it gets in way of alternator a little. Disconnect all the wires to injectors, sensors...

    Odd breakdown...with a simple fix?

    Neutral safety switch? Mine acts like that sometime, I have to hold the key in start position and push gear selector forward.

    If it heats up in traffic and cools down on hwy, its probably fan or flow related. If it heats up on the hwy and cools down in traffic, I would guess head gasket. More rpms equals more pressure. You can check by: Let it get totally cold. Start it, take off cap. Let it warm up and check for...
