Well i've tried it where it's supposed to be, and a tooth both ways. Just for kicks, i'll get a picture a little bit later. Also, I ran a ground from the battery to the fender. It didn't make a difference. So then I re-checked my codes. Now it's getting a code 11. No signal from the CKP...

I know it's not the timing. I've reset the timing probley 20 times and nothing I try seems to change it. I'm starting to lean towards the coil. i'm thinking it got some water damage after sitting in the water for a while.

Alright, i re-set the timing again. I'll see if that'll work. But if the timing doesn't work, i'll tinker with this, but does it work on xj with distibutors? his was a '00 with electronic ignithion. Either way, thanks a bunch!

I like to just think of it as a "circut". It starts at the positive terminal on the battery, runs through a wire preferably to a fuse, then onward to the light, and then back to a ground which will be grounded somewhere on the jeep, which connects back to the negative side of the battery. It...

Yup, I've checked and the vacum lines appear to be good. I know the timing is dead nuts, so that leaves the cam sensor.. Is that going to be it? they're spendy!

Also, i just checked the trouble codes. It looked like a darn light show in there. The codes I'm concerned about are; 23-Intake air temp or circuit and 54-Distributor sync pickup.

I am using the flywheel and CPS off of the high output. It's to my understanding that the flywheel can only mount 1 direction, correct? Also, the engine does have decent spark and it's getting enough fuel to hydrolock the engine so i don't think it's a fueling issue lol If i can get it...

yes, it does. Ocasionally it will fire and sometimes even run, just rough. I used the flywheel off of the High output. Where is the CPS? It wouldn't hurt to look it over.
