Yeah, I'm running the aussie locker in my 8.8 and it has done everything that i expected. Its very easy to control and the noise is minimal. As said before, with some music on you dont even notice the clicking. I only have 2 regrets....
1. not locking the front axle
2. wasting money on...
Try throwing on the tail cone and torqueing both yokes down to 150 ft lbs. That helps to align everything up and might solve your problem.
Also are you putting the tabs for the pump on the outside or the inside of the transercase? I made the mistake of putting them on the inside and snapping...
I am by no means a master fabricator/welder, but those welds looks real clean. I also HATE welding upside down, but you did a damn good job. I like the truss, looks clean, and i cant tell you how many times i wish i had the knowledge to gear/lock a 9". Looks real good, definately post up more...
Yeah the new kits should be adjustable. The older kits were not fully adjustable. Dont have any good advice for the install, just let us know how it performs. I like the look of their kit. goodluck.
You dont have a TC? so its 2wd? Dont know what to do about that.
But if you do have a transfercase then you can get away with a transfercase drop as a temperary fix, but a SYE/cv driveshaft should be something to save up for. Also for at least a week spray down all the bolts with some...
Yeah, short arms on 8+ of lift is not a good idea. At 4.5" my short arms are at a pretty severe angle, i dont even want to know what yours look like. You either need to lower it to around 5-6" and add some drop brackets or convert to long arms. Of course you could always go w/ a mid arm...
