Hi, I would also say that you plain ran out of gas, if you run the tank that low the fuel pump can/will overheat as it needs to be covered in fuel to keep cool. If you can keep the tank about 3/4 full you should have no further problems.

Hi, For my 2 cent's worth I cannot see that this has anything to do with the oil change, but is from washing the engine, sounds like water has got into the electrics somewhere, it should dry off given time.

Hi, Check that all 4 tires are the same, i.e. same size, same degree of wear, same pressure. I fitted 4 new tires recently and afterwards it shifted in and out of FWD like a hot knife thru butter. Hope this helps

Hi, When I did my 93 XJ a year or so ago I thought why have they not used a gasket instead of a rubber O ring, which soon deforms with the heat and pressure. When I put it back together I used gasket maker as well as the O ring and did it as tight as I could undo later if needed.

Sounds like it's leaking from where the fuel pump fits into the tank, there is an O ring seal which might be leaking. With a bright torch you should be able to see where it is leaking from if you lie on your back and look about two thirds of the way up the tank. It's awkward to get at with...
