I gota ask this - how are the fuel prices this year? At last years Fest I was paying about $2.20. Could not make it this year but sounds like y'all had a bunch of good times.
Keep on Jeepin
On my '92 XJ, I did just as the owners manual stated. T-case in N and I flat towed it (U-Haul Tow Bar) from North Texas to Southwest Colorado (about 1500 - 1600 miles) and back with no problems at all. I have no lockers - just stock diffs.

:NAXJA: People are the BEST!
Colorado is a BIG State!
The Rocky Mountains are more beautiful now than when I was a boy.
Man, do I miss being a Colorado resident!
Thanks again y'all,
Michel
I'm not sure but I think it's between 700 - 800 miles for me  . But it will be worth it to be in the beautiful Rockies once again :D  :D

I installed the same lift about a week ago. I had the same problem with the bottom of the Rancho shocks. But my biggest problem by far was getting the rear leafs bolted back in - I could get one bolt easy but had tough time getting the second one in. All in all it was not too bad though.
I remember Aug. of 92. I was up around Mt. Elbert and it snowed like crazy :scared: . We came out of a Hotel in Leadville and a temp sign said it was in the teens  . When we left North TX headed for God's Country it was close to *100. But we still had a blast - I just love Colorado...
