No 700r4 for me... Since AW4's have different spline counts...Which would I need? And just for clarification, the box/kit you sell IS stand-alone, right? How easily does the factory TCM integrate into what I've already got? Could you also give me a run-down on the parts required...I'll need to...

Brett: I just checked out your AW4 site....w/ the kit/box you offer, does that also allow complete automatic(factory) operation? I'm thinking if its that simple, that will be the way to go.... Could you give me a rundown on what all the swap requires? Trans, mounts, shifter, ???? Are all AW4's...

I'm entertaining the idea of swapping an auto into my 89 (AX-15)....What will bolt directly up to the 89 engine? TF999? AW4? I would prefer it not to be computer controlled....But if the trans computer is stand-alone, then that 'might' work....I would also be flipping/clocking a D300...Any body...

I didn't have money for a wheel before that trip...It still fits fine w/ wheel...

I cut my backseat in half and put my 35 standing up, right behind the driver's seat...You can drag it out the back or out the 'window'...The weight distribution is good, visability is good, and still have all storage capacity behind seat (on top/side of my raised tank)...

can use a hacksaw blade or tubing cutter....You really should flare the cut ends before patching the leak w/hose and clamps, no flare on the metal line and the hose/clamps could blow off (wear your good shoes)....

Probably take an afternoon, or a whole Saturday...Depending on equipment available (shop, lift, trans jack)...Its the same as any other clutch job...

Its not hard, you don't need a housing spreader, just unbolt, replace seal, and just torque down the carrier bearing cap bolts...

They all crack...

I can't see that being true...I don't think they would make a vehicle that may not have brakes if the ABS is out...

The fisrt thing I'd do is pressure test the cooling system and check for external leaks.... Coolant can leak into the cylinder and get shoved out the exhuast...
