So the Jeep is running as it did, the catalytic converter had a hole blown out of it and the muffler had bursted, ha. Everything runs, but it wants to stall within the first few minutes. Any ideas?
How about the catalytic converter? A buddy of mine told me about the possibility of it being clogged (since it's been ten years since there was a new one).
As far as mine, I've driven it through a couple of embarrassing miles, couldn't go above 30 MPH and have a back seat full of smoke, ha. So...

I think I'll try your suggestion of the TPS, since there are flat spots when playing with the throttle. The fuel pressure test registered at 34 p.s.i. (it actually ran at 8 p.s.i. before I realized the fuel pump had a loose hose), but The O2 and MAP sensors weren't...
The 4.0 I6 surges sporadically in power and hesitates when throttle opens. I have replaced the MAP sensor, Oxygen sensor, and actually have cleaned the intake manifold (just because I have the time). I was thinking of replacing the EGR valve assembly but doubt it. Any suggestions?
