Very interesting thanks, I'm pretty sure my starter is definately covered in shit. I live in a pretty harsh climate so things get dirty quickly. I was on my way to clean everything before I began tearing things appart anyway, so hopefully that will help my problem.

What all terminal tools do I need to remove them. Wide pick? Narrow Pick? Micro Pick? Terminal Release Tool?

I'm trying to find a new wiring harness for the crankshaft position sensor on my 88xj 4.0L and am having troubles. Anyone know a good place to find this. I could just rewire things but I'd like to replace the connectors as well.
