It's been clocked at 140 at the end of one of the longer straights that we run at. If there was a road long enough it would probably do 160+. We're limited to 5th gear, we don't have the power or aero to overcome the OD in 6th gear.

It's really, really fun. Of course, video games don't really show how steep it is...feels like you're dropping off the edge of the world.

My shifter comes out of the rear most cover; came out of a LS-equipped Trans-Am. I think it's got the factory SLP short shift kit, which is nice. Shift action is nice and direct.

Can't go wrong with the Full Traction 4-link kit. Not only does #4643 run it, many, many JeepSpeed XJs do as well. Trail rated, competition proven. -Matt

I have to ask the OP, what's the motivation of doing the IFS swap? Is it to get the rig lower, improve handling, etc? If the answer is simply a hot-rodding, let's try something new kind of approach, that's totally cool. Just genuinely curious.
