This weekend I'm looking to put my 4.5 rc lift on. In pulling carpet I have found that this jeep is rusty. Very rusty. I have a 4.5 rear spring pack. Anyone know if I am able to make a bastard pack with the 4.5 rc spring pack? I'm afraid to pull the rears
I prefer chain but use straps if I have to. I go from the front axle to the front of the trailer with a flip type binder and from the rear axle to a welded D ring between the ramps with a ratchet binder. Never have had any problems. I have hauled lots of vehicles and farm equipment this way.

Ok so what low range do you end up with? What kind of shift pattern do you end up with? High and low or high, low, double low? Would this work with a 242 instead of a 231?
Sitting around thinking about stuff (I know dangerous) and thoughts of course went to my Xj. I am going to start my lift and axles in the very near future. Instead of wasting time with a SYE, why not install the Dana 300 I have sitting in the garage? I have heard rumors that a 300 will bolt up...
Mine has a distributor so I dont have any experience with the coil rail. Oh well good luck. Unfortunatly in my experience I would lean to coil rail or plugs. A bad fuel filter also causes lots of problems
