Well, It mostly is a street rig, but I dont want to have any problems when I do take it wheeling. Since I am still new to this, which brand should I go with? Could you possibly post up a link to one that you would suggest?

I have a 1999 Cherokee with a Rubicon Express 3.5" lift on it. I am having a death wobble issue, and have narrowed it down to the track bar. My question is should I go with an adjustable track bar, or should I just go with a stock one?

Thanks everyone! I have already had the axles out when I replaced the u-joints, then I had a leak in the seal... sucks that I have to pull it back apart so soon.

I have a 1999 XJ with a Dana 30 High Pinion, I replaced the U-joints, now the Axle seal (drivers side) is bad. I was wondering how hard it was to replace the axle seal, and what the part # for it is. Thanks Everyone!

Did you leave the stock filter in the airbox when you made that srmitchell?

Just bought one of these for my Heep. The gauge has been acting up for a while now, first reading just a little bit over, and now I turn the key on and 80PSI instantly.

I have that problem with mine too... did you by chance see if the airbag light was on at the same time? (Mines a 99' though) I think that it might be something in the connection to the wires behind the cluster in the dash

I never had a problem with the alternator not being strong enough until I replaced the engine in it. Thanks for reminding me to upgrade the wiring, I almost forgot about that! I dont think that there is any alternator rebuilders around my area (St. Louis, MO) I havent really looked into it...

From what I have heard XJs had weak alternators from the factory, (Just enough to power the whole jeep). I have heard that you can replace the alternator with a different year/ model Jeep and it will work the same, but cant seem to find which year/models that are a direct replacement, but have...

Thats where I was thinking about mounting mine. How did you mount it up there? I like the idea of running the wires through the headliner too. My Heep is a 99', sorry about that.

I got a CB radio for my XJ... now I am wondering where to mount this bad boy... I was hoping that some of yall would share where you put yours, and how you made it work in that spot... Thanks!

Alright, I guess that I have to figure out how to tear my dash apart soon... add that to the list of things I have to do. lol

Thanks for the suggestions, I guess that I will have to take the speedo out and clean the plugs up soon. Side note, if I push on the trip/reset button the gauges will come back to life, and the airbag light remains on for a few seconds then goes away also....

On my 99' when I put a new engine in there it wouldnt even start with the dizzy being 1 tooth off

OK, I have a 1999 XJ, 4.0 2door Sometimes the airbag light will come on, and when it does my tach and speedo will drop to 0. Other times the airbag light will come on with a CEL, and the digital readout for the mileage will say "no bus"... Has anyone had these problems, and what was/ is causing...
