TJ rear flare thread??
Looking for that stinkin thread... using searches... :geek: to buy rear TJ flares from a supplier?? Tried the U-pullit yard and they want $75 APIECE!! :explosion
Why don't you cut about 2" off the spring perch? I've done it with a sawzall, some cutoff wheels, and grinder. Everything is just peachy and have room to apply brackets and do not believe it has altered the integrity of the the diff housing. Just as much tube support on both sides of housing and...
Doin the HP44 gig and having to modify the spring perch that is part of the diff on the short side of the axle. Cutting about 2" off the spring perch all the way around with nothing but a sawzall to score about 3/4 through then cutoff wheels and grinding discs with a 4.5 angle grinder. Anybody...
Dudes and Dudets,
Flat Nasty will not disappoint, they had a MOROCK comp a couple weekends ago and there was lots of stuff broken. Owners will definately do whatever to please.
<EDITED-Thanks for the info>
Broken record... use TnT's belly pan with the link mounts, add an upper link bracket (there's room), then build your own control arms for a hidden 3-link. Best of both worlds...actually better see'in how I can't fab all the stuff :helpme:
Crash, Jes, and others,
I know you'll flame me but, do you have any drawings or dimensions of the URF cross member and upper link bracket highths along with lca bracket dimensions and angles?
Could a newb use a TnT belly pan and fab my upper link bracket which would give me the clearence and...
As I have not yet run this "system" I'm using the TnT belly pan with the control arm mounts and welding on the UCA bracket to make a modified hidden 3-link. Pics will follow, but will take a while as I might have to leave home for a while for work.
Very typical of Rusty's flares, but you might get 'em cheaper through Whitney's or another supplier. Those look alot more plyable than Rusty's unless they have come up with a more forgiving compound.
Just do your road work and also let your fingers do the walkin. I've been lookin for a high pinion 44 and they seemed to be dried up, but with a little lookin in the right places they're fallin out of the sky. Gots a 70's F250 Camper special with lockouts (Cheap!). This is gonna be COOL! Iffin...
Hey, Crash,
Ever think of producing your 3-link and cross member suspension package for us fabricationally challenged? Doing my searches and love the hidden 3-link you have and also did for Jes!
I want one I want I want one... :rattle:
