I bought LED strips like these: https://www.vont.com/product/smart-strip-lights-led-strip-lights/ and I thought the best part of such lights is that they’re cuttable and thus can be used for different purposes. I’ll use them as interior under-dash lights now, and will keep my old turn lights.

I was about to attempt installing LED turn signals when I found this thread. I must say it is somehow intimidating now after reading about your misadventures
